One of Newton's favorite game is tug-o-war. We usually buy him rope type toys for him to tug. These types of toys are perfect for him but of course they don't last that long. Being creative and frugal when we can, we decided to take some old denim jeans and turn it into a tug-o-war toy. Braiding strips of it together makes for a very sturdy toy, sturdier than the ones at the local pet store! Newton has been playing with it for three days and it still looks great.
