So I look and lo and behold Newton and Ron are knocked out. Lately, Newton has been sleeping like this on his back. I'm guessing it's because of the summer heat and he's trying to cool off his belly and stretch his back at the same time. Google "corgi sleeping" and a majority of the images that you find are corgis sleeping on their backs with paws in the air. I've seen other breeds do this same pose but it isn't as silly as a corgi and his stubby legs. Newton looks so comfortable and you can't help but laugh!
Occasionally, I could take a similar picture -- Husband Jim and our Ollie! I like to think that they're perfectly comfortable when they sleep like that -- or they want to sleep like their owners!
